At Winking Reptile Rescue we provide interactive educational programs for all ages. Whether you are an educator that looking for a classroom presentation  or planning a private event, we can tailor our presentations to our setting.

What you can expect from our programs?

During our programs, we introduce some of our incredible reptile ambassadors. You can check out some of their pictures below.  Attendees learn each ambassador's story and about their biology and care. Through our ambassadors, participants develop a better understanding of what makes reptiles unique in the animal kingdom and the important role they play in the natural world. We love for our participants to be involved and always welcome questions at the end of each presentation. After questions are answered, attendees have the opportunity to experience some of our reptile ambassadors up close and even touch their scales. Unlike wild reptiles, our ambassadors have experience with crowds and are comfortable being handled and touched.

Do we present venomous reptiles?

No. None of our reptile ambassadors are venomous.

How long are our programs?

We are flexible with time constraints and have done short presentations as well as all-day events. The reptile ambassadors available to present may depend on the length of the event.

Will we travel?

We are based in Southern Illinois but are willing to travel to surrounding areas. Contact us so we can discuss if travel to your event is possible.
